Where is the office located?
We are located just south of the University of California on Telegraph Avenue near the Ashby intersection in Berkeley. We are directly across the street from Whole Foods market on Telegraph.
What hours and days of the week are you open?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early mornings are available by appointment and in some special or emergency cases, you may be seen on weekends or after normal business hours.
I am fearful of dentists. How can Dr. Thai help?
There are a number of ways our office can help if you are anxious. The chair-side demeanor of Dr. Thai and her staff helps patients relax. We often allow for slower paced appointments to create less tension. We offer several options for minimizing your pain, and for patients who are highly anxious, Dr. Thai often prescribes a prescription strength anti-anxiety medication.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, as a courtesy to our patients, we file insurance claims on your behalf.
Can you explain the details and complexities of my insurance policies?
Yes, we are very familiar with many insurance companies and are well informed on how policies and benefits vary from plan to plan. We are happy to take the time to explain the particulars of your policy and its benefits to help you determine how to best utilize your insurance coverage. In doing so, we believe that you will be able to make informed financial choices regarding your oral health. If you have any questions, please call Alicia, our Front Desk Manager.
Do you provide any payment arrangements?
Yes, we provide a number of financial solutions such as Care Credit and Capitol One Dental Fee Plan. These companies work with our office to offer extended payment plans to help you afford the care you need. The plans are often available with no interest or delayed payments. Once a treatment plan has been agreed upon, our business office can contact either company on your behalf. In some cases, your approval status will be determined in less than five minutes. The handling of the entire process is discrete and held to the highest standards of privacy.
